Acció Santos Exhibition - Pere Portabella Tribute

Acció Santos required a visual identity for an exhibition honoring the legacy of Pere Portabella that felt as avant-garde and experimental as his cinematography. We designed a high-impact system built on a classic black, white, and red palette, utilizing distorted, oversized typography that mimics the movement and rhythm of film frames. The identity plays with the concept of "action" and "interruption," using bold vertical lines and fragmented text to create a sense of cinematic tension. By applying this raw, typographic language to large-scale street posters and multi-fold brochures, the design transforms standard event promotion into a conceptual extension of the exhibition itself—one that challenges the viewer's perspective before they even enter the gallery.
